历史沿革[edit]
按村中说法，三座山岗之间有一条小溪，村子最初叫官溪；宋末小溪被改为八口鱼塘，元代改称官塘；到明末取谐音，写作官堂。1987年成立官堂村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
官堂康公古庙在镇东路2号，始建于宋代，清康熙甲申年（1704年）重建，清代到民国又多次重修。庙内供奉华光大帝，壁画和灰塑工艺精美。[1]2010年11月，该庙列入第一批番禺区文物保护单位。[2]
文化与荣誉[edit]
官堂康公出会是镇上流传的民俗活动。[3]官堂村2019年9月列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单，2020年至2022年连续上榜淘宝村名单，2024年11月获评「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」。[1]
