历史沿革[edit]
据传在唐高宗时期，村旁的雷峰山上有海云寺（又名金瓯寺），村子最初叫金瓯村。后来水坑村的陈姓村民迁来，发展为大姓，改名陈边村。人民公社化时称陈边大队，1987年成立陈边村民委员会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
陈边村2019年9月列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单，2020年至2022年连续上榜淘宝村名单，2024年11月获评「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」。[1]
