博雅地名网记载，沙湾社区得名于它所在的古海湾沙滩，即因地处半月形海湾的沙岸而称沙湾。[1]

荣誉[edit]

社区在2021年11月获评广州市绿色社区，2024年11月又入选「2024年广州市充分就业社区」名单。[1]
