历史沿革[edit]
此地原是新中国成立前新中一带的一部分，新中国成立后另立马安乡。其后几经改制，1986年定为村民委员会，中间有一段时期叫管理区办事处，1999年起复称村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]
地名由来[edit]
村里有一座山，外形像马鞍，村名最初写作马鞍，后来简写成马安。[1]
荣誉[edit]
马安村在2019年12月进入首批国家森林乡村名单；省乡村振兴局于2022年1月把它定为「2021年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位；2024年4月，它又被列入「广东省第一批乡村振兴示范村」创建名单；2025年3月，获命名「第七届全国文明村镇」。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
马安竹海在村内，据百度百科，景区由信宜市政府和钧明集团合计投资约1.8亿元建成，最高海拔超过1100米，有毛竹林三万多亩，森林覆盖率在85%以上，2025年2月获批国家3A级旅游景区。景区内有竹海、草甸、天池和云海等景观，另建有度假酒店和餐厅。该条目称，2024年景区接待游客超过10万人次，综合营收650万元。[2]
