沙南村，官方文件多写作沙湾南村，是广州市番禺区沙湾街道下辖的行政村，位于沙湾中心区南部，辖区面积约3平方千米。^[1]村名来历与沙东村相同：明朝时这里浮出沙洲，称大沙，因处最南端而名南村。^[1]

历史沿革[edit]

沙南在1958年实行人民公社化时，建立沙南大队；到1987年改设沙南村民委员会，一直延续。^[1]

总人口1781人，下辖12个村民小组。村集体利用留用地建成楼房约8200平方米、简易厂房19385平方米，另出租工业用地13336平方米供企业自建厂房，并有商铺60多间。^[1]

2024年11月，沙南村入选「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」名单。^[1]
