地理[edit]
东侧是蔡一村，南侧蔡二村，西侧龙美村，北面隔着南村镇的樟边村。[1] 村域面积约0.56平方千米，村民不足1000人。[2]
经济[edit]
20世纪90年代以前，村里以农耕为主，集体收益不高。1996年，村里贷款建起厂房和商铺，攒下了最初的积累；星力动漫游戏产业园于2007年开始筹建，一期在2008年落成，规划总面积57万平方米，入驻的动漫游戏企业近200家。[2] 2023年村集体总收入2480万元，每位股东分红18148元。[2]
文化与荣誉[edit]
村内有槐花坊祠堂、杠木坊祠堂和槐花坊公园、体育公园等；子西蔡公祠经过修缮。[1][2] 2026年1月，蔡三村获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
