龙美村是广州市番禺区东环街道下辖的行政村，在市桥城区以北约一公里、迎宾路东侧。村子原叫龙尾村，后改称龙美。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

相传南村镇的员岗村与此地龙脉相通，员岗是「龙头」，此地为「龙尾」，村名由此而来；村民嫌「尾」字不吉，改为「美」。[1] 据说宋代张元贵从四川潼川一带迁来立村。[1][2] 人民公社时期称龙星大队。1987年成立村委会，当时属沙头镇；之后改属市桥镇（1992年），2001年划入东环街道。[1]

经济与设施[edit]

村内经济以龙美市场和迎宾路两侧的厂房铺面为主，游戏动漫产业带动餐饮、商业。[1] 村集体经济2013年的总收入为3803.1万元。[2] 村里有数百年历史的张氏宗祠。[2]

荣誉[edit]

荣誉方面：2019年入选广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位；2023年入选《广州市地名保护名录（第二批）》，并在「2022年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位之列；2026年1月被评为广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1][2]
