汉塘村是广州市白云区人和镇东北面的行政村，毗邻花都区，全村面积约5.5平方千米，下辖28个经济合作社[1]。

据博雅地名网，一户刘姓人家迁到这里，看见当地有一口水塘，村名由此而来[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

新中国成立初期属花县；1958年建人民公社，属广州郊区汉塘大队[1]。
