秀水村是广州市白云区人和镇南部的行政村，位于人和桥以南、106国道边和流溪河东岸，南与龙归相接，下辖秀水塘等5个自然村、8个经济合作社，全村面积4平方千米[1]。
地名由来与沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网，古时有村民从鸦湖迁到此处，此地又名烂湴村，当地民歌有“三日无雨天大旱，蚊子撒尿浸村场”的句子，村名“秀水塘”即取其意。新中国成立初期属番禺县第七区鸦湖乡，1958年成立秀水大队，1987年设村民委员会[1]。
人口与经济[edit]
全村耕地1165亩，2009年末本地户籍人口3061人，工农业总收入7752万元，人均收入9795元，有大小企业30家。2020年8月，秀水村入选广东省首批“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村（蔬菜）[1]。
名胜古迹[edit]
塘车路上的梦龄书舍（清）列入白云区登记保护文物单位[2]。秀水村在2020年、2021年和2022年连续列入淘宝村名单[1]。
