方石村是广州市白云区人和镇中部的行政村，在106国道以西，流溪河和人江路、方华路穿村而过，全村面积6平方千米，下辖17个经济合作社[1]。
地名由来与沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网，村民的祖先是从南雄珠玑巷逃难而来的，曾发现一块能辨东西南北的四方石，在石旁建起丁棚，取名“方石居”，村也以此为名。解放初期属番禺县第七区鸦湖乡，1958年称方石大队，1984年成立方石乡，1987年设村委会[1]。
人口与经济[edit]
全村耕地2860亩，2009年末本地户籍人口4066人，工农业总收入8970万元，人均纯收入12147元，有厂房18间[1]。2020年8月，方石村入选广东省首批“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村（休闲农业）[1]。
名胜古迹[edit]
白云区登记保护文物单位中，方石村有方石居（清，东西门街）和沈氏宥禾公祠（清，贤兴街）[2]。
荣誉[edit]
2026年1月成为「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」；2020年至2022年连续入选淘宝村名单[1]。
