西湖村是广州市白云区人和镇的行政村，位于江人路中段东西两侧，北临北二环高速公路，南接新广花路，蚌湖商贸市场在村的中部，全村面积2.3平方千米，下辖10个经济合作社[1]。
地名由来与沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网，村在蚌湖西部，耕地低洼，下雨时连片的农田像一片湖，故名西湖。早年就叫西湖村；“文革”时期曾名公农大队，之后并入建湖大队，1965年又单独设西湖大队，1977年恢复西湖村旧称，1987年改设村委会[1]。
人口与经济[edit]
全村耕地781亩，2009年末本地户籍人口2550人，工农业总收入8144万元，人均纯收入8307元，有厂房30间；村里约有一千亩土地已被划为城建用地[1]。2019年入选广东省卫生村名录[1]。
