人和社区是广州市白云区人和镇下辖的社区居委会，属镇中心区，是人和镇驻地所在的圩镇[1]。

地名由来[edit]

据博雅地名网所载，人和圩的名字来自一个传说：建圩时有父子三人住在这里，父亲以此地土地肥沃、近水、人气旺教导儿子，后来来此经商的人不断增多，人们觉得此处具备天时、地利与人和，便称为“人和”，意为人人和睦。人和镇的镇名也取自这个圩名[1]。

荣誉[edit]

广州市住房和城乡建设局2022年11月将人和社区认定为「广州市2022年绿色社区」；2024年11月，社区列入「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」[1]。
