南社社区是广州市天河区龙洞街道下辖的社区，辖区主要是原南社生产队的地块，故名[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

2003年11月1日先成立中南社区居委会；2015年11月5日，该社区按中社、南社生产队旧地块的界线拆为两个，原居委会改称南社社区居委会，至今未变[1]。2025年5月，天河区政府批复把西社、南社两个社区“二分为三”，增设龙湖社区；调整后的南社社区北临迎新路，西抵广东工业大学东侧围墙，面积约0.94平方千米，社区规模为4001户以上[2]。
