龙潭社区是广州市海珠区华洲街道辖下的社区，由原龙潭村改制而来[1]。社区内的纶生白公祠和「乐善好施」牌坊是广东省文物保护单位，另有兴仁书院、东湖祖祠等古建筑[1][2]。

历史沿革[edit]

1960年初设龙潭村村民委员会。2002年「村改居」，设骏龙、聚龙、颖龙、万年西、万年东5个居委会；2005年4月合并为龙潭居委会。2016年8月，龙潭居委会拆分为龙潭社区和万年社区[1]。2024年5月，以江海大道为界又析出西环社区[3]。名称「龙潭」，博雅地名网解释为水乡、龙聚居之地[1]。

名胜古迹[edit]

纶生白公祠在西约大街22号，砖木结构，三进两天井，坐东向西，占地约1000平方米；清同治十一年（1872年）动工，光绪二十五年（1899年）落成[2]。1993年列为广州市文物保护单位，2002年7月与「乐善好施」牌坊一起公布为第四批广东省文物保护单位，2023年1月入选《广州市地名保护名录（第一批）》[2]。博雅地名网另载此祠始建于清乾隆三年（1738年），与百度百科不同，本条目取后者[1][2]。

龙潭村古建筑群包括兴仁书院、东湖祖祠、旌表节孝牌坊以及迎龙桥、利溥桥、汇源桥、康济桥[1]。

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，龙潭社区被广州市住房和城乡建设局确定为「广州市2021年绿色社区」；2024年11月被认定为「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」[1]。

著名人物[edit]

白纶生（1823—1893），龙潭村人，少时家贫，15岁起在广州的洋行当杂工，后来开办悦盛商行致富，在乡里有善举[1]。
