财厅前社区是广州市越秀区北京街道下辖的社区，辖区以广东省财政厅前的一片地方为主，社区由此得名[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

财厅前社区的源头，是1953年设立的吉祥街道第一居委会，它曾与第十居委会一起组成六榕人民公社第一管理区，后恢复原状，并在1966年8月随街道更名为广卫街道第一居委会[1]。居委会改叫广仁（1999年）；三年后，广仁、越华、旧仓巷三个居委会经调整组成财厅前社区居委会，昌兴居委会于2014年并入[1]。

名胜古迹[edit]

广东省财政厅大楼在北京路北端，仿欧洲古典建筑风格，砖、木、钢筋混凝土结构，分两期建造，1915年奠基，1919年竣工[1]。

荣誉[edit]

社区列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位（2019年公布），在2021年被定为广州市绿色社区，并获2024年广州市充分就业社区的认定；2026年1月，又入选广州市高质量充分就业街镇社区（村）名单[1]。
