仙湖社区是广州市越秀区北京街道下辖的社区，因辖区内明代有仙湖街而得名[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
社区可追溯到1950年贤中派出所辖下的一个片区，其后先后成为解放南街道第一居委会（1956年）和大南街道第九居委会（1958年）[1]。大南街道并入北京街道时（1998年）设仙湖居委会，民星居委会后来并入，社区仍叫仙湖[1]。
文化[edit]
仙湖之名与南汉时的西湖有关：南汉在这一带凿湖，史称西湖或仙湖[2]。街道简介也提到，仙湖街与书坊街等小巷中，旧有不少书院和祠堂[3]。
荣誉[edit]
2022年11月，社区被广州市住房和城乡建设局认定为广州市2022年绿色社区[1]。
