禺山社区是广州市越秀区北京街道下辖的社区，辖区是秦汉时期禺山的所在，社区以此得名[1]。
地名由来[edit]
番山与禺山原是广州古城内的两座山岗，在今北京路与小马站之间，唐末拓展城区时被凿平[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
社区起源于1954年的永汉北街第四居委会，公社化后属永汉北人民公社的小马管理区（1962年），1968年称北京街第四居委会[1]。后来改叫禺山市居委会（1998年），2002年又取府学西、翠云里的部分地段整合设立；大马站居委会于2014年并入，才改称禺山居委会[1]。
名胜古迹[edit]
社区的景点有秦代造船遗址，遗址在一座东西长约300米的土岗上，1975年试掘，发现造船台3座和木料加工场的遗迹[1]。北京路古道遗址位于北京路步行街北段，属禺山社区辖区[2]。
荣誉[edit]
2021年11月，社区被确定为广州市2021年绿色社区[1]。
