车头村是福建省宁德市福鼎市叠石乡北部的行政村，位于浙江省58省道旁，距福鼎市区21公里，下辖4个自然村。[1]

村名的来历是村址处在山涧溪流的源头，闽南语谐音读作车头。村地历来是闽浙之间的交通要道。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1950年至1958年间此地为车头乡；1959年至1982年改称车头大队，1983年又恢复乡制，1987年，村民委员会在此地设立。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

村与浙江接壤，村边的泰福万年桥是浙江通往福建的主要通道，修建于道光七年。村中另有一片红豆杉与枫叶林。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，福建省爱卫办认定车头村为「2021年福建省卫生村」；2022年3月，村被命名为「2021年福鼎市平安村（社区）」。[1]
