田头村位于文亨镇。此地地势低洼，四面都没有出路，而上到山顶一带地势较平，便于耕作，故取名田头。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

此地在1133年（南宋绍兴三年）建县时归南顺团管辖，1382年（明洪武十五年）起属南顺里，清代沿用明代的编制。[1]

民国20年（1931年）8月设文亨区，解放初的田头属文亨区湖峰乡。1958年改属文亨公社田头大队；1984年设田头村委会，鲤江则另设村委会。2010年撤乡建镇后，田头归属文亨镇。村委驻地设在田头自然村，村内共三个自然村。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2023年1月，田头村获「2022年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」称号；2024年1月，又获「2023年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」称号。2021年11月，村庄被授予「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]
