东兴村是武东镇下辖的行政村，旧称东流坑，因溪水向东流入六甲溪而得名。[1][2]

村内溪水向东流入六甲溪，此地便称东流坑。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时期此地有三个保，隶属六甲乡。建国后，三保合并组成东兴乡，归武东区；1955年改划入十方区。[3]

1958年重归六甲乡。1961年设东兴大队，隶六甲公社；1965年随之并入武东公社。1984年设东兴村委会，属武东镇。[3]
