新联村位于武平县西北部，以烤烟、无公害蔬菜、水果、花卉和优质稻为主要经济来源。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

解放前此地为新坊村，属新联保。解放初设东留区时，以新坊为中心，合并附近几处自然村，定名新联村。[1]

1953年曾设新联乡，1958年改设大队，1984年起称村委会。[1]

文化[edit]

2024年1月，新联村被命名为「2023年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」；2021年1月，被命名为「2020年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」。[1]
