石坑村是湖雷镇的行政村，位于镇区东面约一千米，道仁溪蜿蜒穿村而过。村名来自村内溪中多大石。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

溪水中石块众多，村因此得名石坑。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村子原为湖雷镇下的石坑保，1949年后划入湖雷区与下南乡。1958年成为石坑大队，1984年建乡后设石坑村委会。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

村中有石拱桥荫桥，桥上建有凉亭，夏夜村民常在此纳凉。石坑口子楼又称永安楼，面积1345平方米，前、中、后为三堂，两侧带横屋。[2]

人物[edit]

吴胜（1910～1936年）是石坑村人，15岁投身革命，先任阮山的交通员，后入赤卫队和红军，1930年入党。[1]

文化[edit]

2017年8月，石坑村列入福建省第二批省级传统村落名录。[1]
