下坪村位于福建省龙岩市永定区下洋镇西南部，村落呈狭长形。[1]

村名的由来：村民住在一块大石下方、离大石较远的那块平地上，故称下坪。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村子原属下溪村。下溪的名称取自下赤坑与溪头两个村名各一字。1987年撤乡建镇时，下溪村分为下坪、三联两村。[1][2]
