下坪村是广东省肇庆市高要区水南镇下辖的行政村，位于镇的东北部，距镇区8公里，与四会市石狗镇相邻，设9个村民小组[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
在解放前归高要一区，到1950年建起乡一级政权。1958年划入乐城公社，名下坪大队，次年转到新设的水南公社。1983年改设下坪乡，1987年为村委会，1989年为管理区；到1998年，改组成村民委员会，至今未变[1][2]。
经济[edit]
据博雅地名网转载的介绍，村委会有885人、254户，耕地530多亩，山地21166亩，农户以种植肉桂、柑桔、油茶为主[1]。2019年9月，下坪村入选「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」[1]。
