东南村位于雁石镇中部，村名取东洋、南山两个自然村名的首字。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时此地称厦和乡东洋保，解放初归厦老乡，称东洋村。1961年，东洋村连同南山村的一部分另设为东南大队。1984年改设东南村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年1月，东南村名列「2020年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」；2022年12月，获「2022年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]
