金坑乡位于福建省南平市邵武市西北部，乡境东面挨着沿山镇，北面以光泽县李坊乡为邻，西面则是江西省黎川县熊村镇。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

地名的来历与溪中的金沙有关：相传早年一带有金、银矿，有人在溪中淘得金沙，溪因此名金溪，清朝中期地名改为金坑。[2]

宋代，这里属昼锦上乡。[1]

民国时期，境内村庄隶属金湖乡。[2]

新中国成立后，此地先归第五区管辖；1958年划入和平公社，1961年自和平公社分离，另立金坑公社。[2]

1984年9月起，此地由公社改为乡制，名为金坑乡。[1][2]

1990年，邵武市所辖的19个乡镇、街道中包括金坑乡。[3]

地理环境[edit]

金坑村地处武夷山脉西段，四面环山，中间是盆地，金溪自村旁流过，乡政府即设在该村。[6]

依邵武市政府2026年的行政区划表，全乡面积为136.76平方千米。[3]

人口民族[edit]

2024年，乡域户籍人口为7089人，共1831户。[4]

经济[edit]

博雅地名网称，金坑乡是邵武市香菇、笋干和土纸的主要产地。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

文昌阁在金坑村下坊自然村，修建于乾隆年间，即1736至1795年之间，属金坑水尾文昌宫的主体部分，共三层，三重檐四角攒尖顶。[2]

下坊李氏宗祠同在下坊自然村，动工年份为1751年，即乾隆十六年，院落为一进格局，主体为砖木构造，坐西朝东。[5][2]

乡内的金坑东方县苏维埃政府旧址，与金坑村内的金坑区苏维埃政府旧址，皆为清代房屋，原为苏维埃政府驻地，两处都已列入县级文保名录。[2]
