东边村是福建省南平市松溪县渭田镇下辖的行政村，位于镇的西北部，毗邻浦城县与浙江省庆元县。[1][3]

地名与地理[edit]

村名的由来：村子坐落在竹贤溪的东岸，故称东边。[1]

村子位于老虎岭边，四面环山，竹贤溪自村中向东南流过，形成河谷盆地。气候属中亚热带湿润季风性气候。村辖4个自然村。[3]

下源古村[edit]

村北的下源古村落被称为「佛掌福地」，周围五道山脉的走势如同佛手，村中有树龄三百年的榉树、枫树。[2]

旧时，每年农历八月十五，下源村民在兴隆庵举行「迎仙」活动，祭祀陈家祖先「陈姑婆」；每逢闰月有「后头昼」的习俗，出嫁的女儿、姐妹和姑姑都回娘家团聚。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

村庄宋代始建，原属东平乡的二十一都。1941年划归第一区署竹贤乡，属埂下保；1960年改为渭田公社东边大队。[1]

1984年10月，乡制重设，原大队改称行政村。1994年撤乡设镇，村名随之为渭田镇东边村。[1]

产业与荣誉[edit]

村中发展山蕗（蜂斗菜）种植，「东边红」是本村的品牌，产品销往日本、俄罗斯和菲律宾等地。[2]

福建省2019年度「一村一品」示范村名单（蔬菜类）中有东边村，该名单公布于2020年12月。[1]
