北塘村是遂溪县北坡镇的行政村，1946年时为遂溪县的北塘保；2020年，以北塘果桑进入广东省首批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
北塘1946年是遂溪县的北塘保，建国之初有互助组，1958年成北塘大队[1]。1983年改管理区，1986年分出村委会，1989年撤村改回管理区，1999年定为村民委员会[1]。1960年大明大队分出的北坡、北塘、架岭三个生产大队中，就有北塘[2]。
荣誉[edit]
2020年8月，北塘村以果桑上了广东省农业农村厅首批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单；2019年9月，列入2018年度「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位[1]。
