黄沙村位于松溪县西南部，处于黄沙水库上游一带，距县城十五公里，是革命老区的基点村。[1]

地名与沿革[edit]

村址建在山坑之中，土质多黄沙，初称黄沙坑，后简称黄沙。[1]

村落的起源在清朝，隶属善政乡杉溪里十图。[1]

1941年，村归第二区署郑墩乡管辖，为其下的黄沙保。1960年，此地设郑墩公社黄沙大队；1984年10月，大队改称村。[1]
