横塘村是福建省南平市建阳区将口镇下辖的行政村，东与南台、东田两村接壤，南接将口村，西邻松柏村，北与武夷山市兴田镇相接。[1]村名的来历是村中有一条带状的水塘横贯村落。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

解放初期此地属将口区的横塘保。1952年置横塘乡，1957年改为横塘高级社，1958年并入将口公社的横塘大队，1984年改设村民委员会。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村下辖横塘、固县、白地园、洋墩、毛厂5个自然村。峰福铁路和浦南高速公路贯穿村境，303省道穿村而过。[1]

京福高铁武夷山东站建在本村洋墩自然村，是武夷新区中心城区的站前交通服务片区所在地。[1]

村中以烤烟、水稻为主导产业。[2]
