新圩村位于九龙江边，是新圩镇人民政府的所在地。村中有新圩渡建筑群，是镇内的主要古迹。[1]

地名由来[edit]

九龙江水运便利，村边渡口是闽西北的水上通道，人流物流集中，岭都、店仔圩等集市先后出现，俗称“圩”。后因旧址地方狭小，集市迁到现在的地点，取名“新圩”。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年，村里设新圩大队；1984年改为新圩村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2012年10月，新圩村由司法部与民政部列入「第五批全国民主法治示范村（社区）」名单。2015年10月，村入选「福建省第一批省级传统村落」。2021年2月，村列入「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单。2024年1月，村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。2025年10月，村被认定为「漳州市2025年度市级“一村一品”专业村」，产业为柑橘。[1]
