明末清初，有人由龙岩市永定县抚市镇迁入此地[1]。1985年，村子设立岭头村村民委员会[1]。

荣誉[edit]

2021年6月，岭头村列入「福建省第四批省级传统村落」[1]。2022年9月，岭头村获认定为「漳州市2022年度市级一村一品专业村」，产品为生态肉鸡[1]。
