岭头村是黄坡镇下辖的行政村，国民党将领李汉魂的故乡，李汉魂故居在村内[1][2]。

历史沿革[edit]

岭头于1957年组建，1983年称乡，三年后设村委会，1988年又称管理区，1999年再回到村委会的名称[1]。

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，岭头村名列「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单；2022年9月，被认定为「2022年湛江市文明村」；2026年1月，获评「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」[1]。

名胜古迹[edit]

李汉魂故居亦称“伯豪园”，由勤园、俭园两部分组成，二者之间隔着布衣一巷和布衣二巷。百度百科载其建于1933年，占地16000平方米；博雅地名网和快懂百科的简介则称建于抗战时期，占地约12000平方米。勤园是李汉魂办公、待客之所，俭园内有敬一堂和供奉其母的寿母亭。故居1949年收归国有，1952年起曾用作川西中学，后来又先后作过农业、医学类学校分校和兵站；2003年定为吴川市文物保护单位，2008年定为广东省文物保护单位[2][3][4]。

著名人物[edit]

李汉魂（1895年—1987年），字伯豪，岭头村人，保定军校第六期毕业。1938年任广东省政府主席，在任6年8个月；1949年任内政部长，不久赴美定居，1987年在纽约去世[3][4]。
