金坑村是福建省漳州市云霄县下河乡下辖的行政村，位于县境西部。村名源自当地溪中曾发现的砂金。[1]

地名与历史[edit]

据省地质队的多次探测，约一亿五千万年前，此地为火山爆发口，一带岩石多由喷出的岩浆凝成。土壤与溪涧淤沙中有细小的金粒，村民曾在溪中发现砂金，故称黄金坑，后简称金坑。[1]

建国前此地隶平和县壶仙乡；建国初改属平和县第五区安居乡，1957年划入云霄县。1958年组建生产队，隶跃进公社；1966年改属下河公社；1984年公社改乡，大队改称金坑村委会。[1]
