锦江村位于英林镇西南部，距镇区约5公里，南接沿海大通道，西临埭边村，北邻龙西村。村名来历：村地号“锦江”，村又依附锦江溪沿岸，故称锦江村委会。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

锦江村柯氏一族旧居下柯坑，元时属晋江县十一都，地号为锦江。1997年5月，经上级民政部门批准设立本村委会，以地号命名。[1][2]

人口民族[edit]

截至2011年，全村人口1000人，有6个村民小组。村中以柯、蔡两姓为多，定居海外人口千余人。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

柯氏宗祠始建于明代，清康熙年间曾首次修缮，1998年再度重修，规模为三间二进。[2]

荣誉[edit]

1993年，村里被市委、市政府列为基本小康村和文明村。[2]
