岭头村位于福建省泉州市德化县三班镇的南部，依傍天马山北坡，东南方向与永春县的介福、吾峰两地相接，距县城15公里，是德化最南端的村落。村子处在山地，通往三班镇区与永春高垅都下岭的道路经过这里，村名因此得来。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

据史载，清康熙十年，原属三班硕杰的郑民达迁居此地，开发村落。村内还有圆山堡，据博雅地名网所载，苏十万曾驻此抗元。[1]

明代属归德乡坊隅，清代属在坊里的石杰社。民国时期编入桥内保，属三班联保。1950年属锦桥乡，1958年分属浔中公社的桥内、岭坑两个大队；1961年自桥内分出，另立岭头大队，归三班公社；1984年改设岭头村委会，1991年随乡改镇。[1]

文物[edit]

  • 岭头东坪窑址列入2012年公布的不可移动文物名录；同一名录中另有清代建筑岭头东坪堂（一般）。[2]
