金星村位于达埔镇南部，村委会设在全村中心，达新公路穿村而过[1][2]。1961年成立大队时定名金星，寓意金光灿烂，1984年改为村委会[1][2]。全村面积14.20平方千米，下辖10个自然村[3]。

历史沿革[edit]

此地早先在永春第十都之内。1936至1939年间为晹深保，保名取晹谷、深板各一字。解放初期为乡级建制下的一部分，1958年公社化后并入大队，1961年另设金星大队，1984年起为金星村委会[2]。

地理环境[edit]

下辖的10个自然村中，有深坂、天马、磨石坑等[2]。
