东边村是尤溪县联合镇北部的行政村，位于金鸡山腹部，与南平市延平区塔前镇毗邻，1984年改为东边村。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

宋代，这里属兴文乡安福里。明清时期隶属尤溪十二都。[1]

1958年设立大队，1964年定名东边大队，1984年改为东边村。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村子位于金鸡山的腹部，海拔530米，是尤溪县最北端的村庄之一，与南平市延平区塔前镇毗邻。[1][2]

文化[edit]

20世纪40年代初，本村是中共南尤沙重点革命根据地之一。解放战争时期，村民为解放事业作出了贡献，本村被省、市确定为革命老区重点村。[2]

1960年成立东边小学。1988年，福建省文科高考状元陈熙满出自本村。[2]

2021年11月，本村被福建省爱卫办评为「2021年福建省卫生村」；2023年2月，东边村列入福建省第三批高级版绿盈乡村名单。2024年7月，本村被确定为「2021—2023年三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]
