沙坪村位于长校镇北部，距清流县城约38千米，省道204线贯穿全村，是革命老区基点村，也是库区移民村。[1]

村名沙坪，据博雅地名网，村子处在校溪与渔沦两水交汇之处。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，村子在康熙初年（1711年）开基，之后迁居到校溪一侧的现址。[2]

民国时期这一带称沙荷乡（1919年起），1958年为沙坪大队，1984年改为沙坪村村民委员会。博雅地名网另有一处记为1982年改称沙坪村。[1][2]

地理环境[edit]

村子四面环山，长潭河环绕村子。长案桥旁有数棵樟树，构成一道绿色屏障。[2]

经济[edit]

村民以种植水稻和水果为主，也外出务工。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

灵台山在沙坪村辖区内，山上有圆通寺、醉峰寺、福源寺，此外还有客家文化城等旅游景点。[2][3]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，沙坪村被福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」；2023年2月，沙坪村入选「福建省第三批高级版绿盈乡村」名单；2024年7月，被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]
