长岭村位于郊尾镇东北部，处在莆仙交界地带。东北与华亭镇相邻，西南接后沈村，东南与长安村相连，西北以盖尾镇湖坂村为界。村子海拔90米。[1]

村子东西两边都是高山，中间的通道便是古闽中驿道。这里的山岭长约2公里，因此叫长岭。[1]

2024年1月，村子获评「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时设长岭村，属香田里；民国时与长安合成一保，属香田镇。1956年6月并入埕边乡，1958年9月并入长安大队，隶属郊尾公社；1962年复设长岭大队，之后改称长岭村。1985年3月改属郊尾镇。[1][2]

村下辖长岭、后寨两个自然村，共7个村民小组。[1]

经济[edit]

村子以农业为主，同时发展多种经营，出产龙眼。中华人民共和国成立后，324国道的车流增多，村里成了过往车辆的停靠点和货物的集散地。[1][2]

名胜古迹[edit]

长岭战斗旧址在长岭自然村。中共闽中特委在1936年5月促成闽中工农游击队第一、二支队合编，随后决定借此摆脱被动局面，继续游击斗争。[1]
