新圩社区是福建省厦门市翔安区新圩镇的镇中心社区，镇政府驻于社区之内。社区名称与旧时的圩集有关。[1]

社区的前身是新圩村。2005年，龙新居委会撤销，与新圩村合并为本社区。2022年，社区获评福建省卫生社区。[2][1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代此地属同禾里新圩保，1943年改隶公安乡。1950年划为同安县第六区的新圩乡，1956年改入汀溪区新凤乡，1958年又归新圩乡。[2]

1959年改属布塘公社，1960年改属汀溪公社，1964年成为新圩公社的新圩大队。1984年改为新圩乡新圩村，1988年归新圩镇管辖。[2]

1989年，居民组与集体户析出，设立龙新居委会。1997年划归同安区，2003年改属翔安区。2005年，龙新居委会撤销，与新圩村合并为本社区。[2]

文化[edit]

辖区内包括后溪、何宅、埔尾下、林美、洋尾、下市、顶市与后行共8个自然村。[1]

2021年2月，社区入选「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单。2022年12月，本社区经福建省爱国卫生运动委员会认定，获「2022年福建省卫生社区」称号。[1]
