西边村位于福建省福州市福清市镜洋镇，村名取其所在位置，在福清市西北部偏西的方位。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明代隶属南下隅方兴里，清末归东张镇。1943年设甲，编入方永乡琯口保；1950年归第六区上店乡，1956年划为东张区上店乡，1958年并入东张公社琯口大队。1961年从中析出另立西边大队，属镜洋公社；1984年改为西边村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，福建省爱卫办命名本村为「2021年福建省卫生村」。2022年12月，村庄由福建省绿化委员会命名为「2022年福建省森林村庄」。[1]
