锦华村是兴宁市福兴街道下辖的行政村，位于街道中部，辖60个村民小组。旧名矮岗，因村地势低洼，后为纪念革命烈士陈锦华，改名锦华。[1]
地名由来与沿革[edit]
解放前村名叫矮岗，据说因地势低洼；后来为纪念烈士陈锦华改称锦华。[1]1950年起设乡；1962年后历经大队、乡、管理区几种建制，1999年成为村委会。[1]1961年福兴公社成立时，社址曾设在村内的怡善围。[2]
荣誉与人口[edit]
2017年10月，锦华村获省爱卫会授予的首批广东省卫生村称号。村内在册1214户、4360人，总面积3平方千米，耕地1360亩。[1]
