神光村是兴宁市福兴街道下辖的行政村，位于街道中部，辖38个村民小组，因紧靠神光山而得名。神光山国家森林公园就在村境。[1][2]

沿革[edit]

村庄靠近神光山，故称神光村。[1]神光原归刁坊区管辖，1962年划入福兴公社，设神光大队；以后相继改为乡（1983年）和管理区（1987年）。[1]

神光山[edit]

神光山海拔360米，山上有神光寺、墨池寺等古迹，每年重阳节有登高、祭祀的习俗，已有八百多年。[2]

人口[edit]

村内在册890户、3525人，总面积3平方千米，耕地1400亩（据博雅地名网）。[1]
