五里村是兴宁市福兴街道下辖的行政村，位于街道中部，辖53个村民小组。村名来自清代嘉庆年间村里所建的拥慧亭，亭子离县城五里。[1]
地名由来与沿革[edit]
清嘉庆年间村内建有拥慧亭，因亭距县城五里，村名叫五里。[1]新中国成立初曾为纪念革命烈士而称铁崖村；1955年起，村的建制几度更名，依次为高级社、大队、乡和管理区，1999年定为村委会。[1]
文物与荣誉[edit]
村内的五里黄粤兴屋是清代建筑，梅州市政府于2020年3月13日公布它为市级文物保护单位（第七批）。[2]2026年1月，五里村获评广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村。[1]
人口[edit]
村内在册1080户、3980人，总面积3.1平方千米，耕地1770亩（据博雅地名网）。[1]
