皇佑村是梅州市蕉岭县南礤镇中部的行政村，面积14.57平方千米，耕地1525.59亩，辖12个村民小组，569户、2337人（博雅地名网，未注明年份），是全镇人口最多的行政村。[1]
地名由来[edit]
村中流传，宋代这里已有人开发，蓝、陈、吕、李、温等姓居住，最早叫儒村，后改红旗村。又传某位宋朝皇帝在1049年路过本村，村民感念并求其庇佑，把村名改成皇佑。这属民间说法，村情材料中对皇帝的称呼与年号不能互相印证。[1]
经济[edit]
烟叶为主要经济作物；小水电、毛竹、林木、烤烟、红菇和油茶是集体收入项目，上一年农村经济总收入1080万元。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1921年皇佑属石磜乡；新中国成立后的1950年隶北磜乡，1952年成立皇佑乡。1959年编为梅东公社的皇佑生产大队，1961年转归北磜公社。1983年设北磜区，皇佑为乡；1987年改村委会，1990年又称管理区。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月公布的「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单上有皇佑村。[1]
