富足村是梅州市蕉岭县南礤镇中部的行政村，面积10.15平方千米，耕地932.04亩，辖13个村民小组。[1]
地名由来[edit]
博雅地名网载有一份村情：元统元年（1333年）王、廖两姓从梅县桃尧镇的横经一带出来耕种谋生；后来人口增多、土地不够，加上社会动荡，在明嘉靖三十五年（1555年）迁到现址，建村后叫苦竹凹。日子好转后，苦竹凹改叫「富足凹」，再简称富足。[1]
人口与经济[edit]
全村305户、1148人（未注明年份）。种烟叶为主，毛竹、林木、烤烟、红菇是集体收入项目，上一年农村经济总收入515万元。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
苦竹凹时期之后，1950年的名称是南磜乡富足村。进入人民公社时代，村是梅东公社的富足生产大队，1961年划给南磜公社。1983年南磜区成立，富足成了乡；1987年改称村委会，1990年一度叫管理区，1999年定名为村民委员会。[1]
