左槐村是梅州市蕉岭县南礤镇中部的行政村，面积1.41平方千米，在全镇各行政村中最小；耕地211.04亩，下设7个村民小组，172户、603人（博雅地名网，未注明年份）。[1]
地名由来[edit]
明万历初年，福建上杭的陈姓迁到这里，因山坑里杂草丛生，叫作草排坑。到光绪初年，当地以「左槐」与「草排」读音相近为由，改称左槐坑。[1]
经济[edit]
烟叶为主要经济作物，林木和烤烟是集体收入项目，上一年农村经济总收入258万元。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
左槐在1958年成为梅东公社的生产大队，1961年归南磜公社。1983年，左槐与插峰两个大队并成左槐乡，隶南磜区；此后的名称先是村委会（1987年），再是管理区（1990年），自1999年起又为村委会。[1]
