历史沿革[edit]
关于村名，博雅地名网收录的说法是：相传清代中期，水寨大布的李氏迁居于此，定名大埔坪，因“埔”与“布”谐音，民国初年改为布坪。[1]
建制变化：1949年称乡，1958年成立大队，1983年改称乡政府，1989年为管理区，1999年改称村委会。[1]
