新楼村是广东省惠州市惠城区马安镇南部的行政村，博雅地名网称其为解放战争时期的革命老区。^[1]2021年被认定为第二批全国乡村治理示范村。^[1]

地名由来[edit]

据博雅地名网，300多年前先人自福建迁来，搭草棚居住，棚屋常失火，先人告诫后代日后要建楼房，村名因此叫新楼。^[1]

1983年11月新楼属横河乡；1987年1月撤区设镇，并入横河管理区；到1998年撤区设村，才由横河管理区分出，单设新楼行政村和村委会。^[2]

博雅地名网所载介绍（时间约在2012年之后）：全村面积2.24平方千米，耕地1600多亩，分10个村民小组，人口1625人；2012年的数字是：经济总产值850万元，集体收入80万元，农民人均年收入7500元。^[1]

村获「惠州市生态示范村」「惠州市科普示范村」「惠州市新农村建设示范村」等称号。2021年9月认定为第二批全国乡村治理示范村；2023年11月入选广东「百千万工程」首批典型县镇村；2024年1月，又列入广东省2023年度民主法治示范村（社区）。^[1]

维基百科记载，村中的庙宇供奉玄天上帝与关圣帝君，村民每三年办一次太平清醮，历时七日七夜，期间全村吃斋，旅居香港和外地的原村民也会回乡。^[3]
